
Analysis of the information in Serbia shows that for three years (2003-2006) there wasn't a noticeable growth in the number of people who receive commercial fliers, but in 2006 there was a substantial expansion in this type of promotion – a larger number of buyers who receive this material and at the same time read it (20%).
Fliers reach 42% of city residents and just 20% of residents in rural areas.
In the cities there is also a larger percentage of those who actually read the fliers (26% in cities compared to 11.4% in rural areas), as well as a tendency for people buy goods more often when there is a special deal advertised in promotional fliers.
