Although in the Veterinary Direction in the Serbian Ministry for Agriculture it is believed that beside meat, on the extended EU list for food, starting from next year egg, milk, cheese, and chicken meat from Serbia can be found, experts warn about moderate amount of these products on the annual level in our country. During their two-week stay in Serbia in June this year European Union inspectors for food and veterinary will try to determine whether Serbian factories for processing meat, eggs, and milk satisfy conditions which would enable these Serbian products to, according to new, extended EU list for export of animal origin products, find themselves on the shelves in the countries, members of the EU. Will after June, beside young beef which we already export, milk, milk products, eggs, and chicken from Serbia find their place on European market, we will find out a month or two after the EU inspection has finished its work…
