Since most of the EU regulations are actually harmonized with the regulations ascribed by the World Trade Organization, it is obvious that we have to adapt to the world if we want to sell our goods on the world market.

While preparing for accession to the EU, Serbia has already begun harmonization with the regulations of the community in many spheres, and also in the part which relates to production and placement of fruit and vegetables. It should be said that this harmonization of domestic legislation with the regulations and practice in the EU is necessary to be completed as soon as possible, even if we do not access the EU in recent years, since without following them, potatoes, raspberries, plums, or salad from Serbia will not be able to be exported or sold in these countries.
