After the reconstruction which cost nine million euros, and project which was done by the city architect Djordje Bobic, Zeleni Venac has become exclusively green market where only agricultural products will be sold. Market has 410 counters, out of which 250 have separate roofs, while the rest are under the shed. At the market there are 50 shops, as well as the milk hall with 60 glass-showcases. In the underground part of the complex there is a garage with 125 parking places, two public toilets, transformer station, heating substations, rooms for diesel aggregate, garbage rooms and changing rooms for workers, as well as space for unloading of the goods which will, with the help of two elevators, be delivered to the market plateau. Market plateau lies on 6.600 m2, and is built of concrete resistant to frost, salt, and mechanical damages, it will not be slippery and is absolutely flat, all of which will facilitate its maintenance. Part of the market where there are objects takes 3.900m2, while storage space has 800 m2.
